The pie charts compare five different major categories of household expenditures in Japan and Malaysia in the year 2010.
It is certainly true that the proportion of expending of household
expenditures was different each category. In Japan, the biggest of
expending of household was other goods and services major. While in
Malaysia, the biggest of expending household expenditures was in housing
major.
In 2010, Japan expended
around 29% in other goods and services sector, and it was the biggest
expending there. By contrast, the second biggest in Japan was housing
category which expended 21% while housing category became the biggest in
Malaysia which expended 34%.
On the other hand, Malaysia
expended lower in transport and health care major than Japan did. It was
about 3% which just a half from Japan that had 6% in health care
category. Also, Malaysia expended 10% while Japan expended 20% in
transport major. However, both countries were the third highest in
expending of food category.
