The line graph compares three kinds of junk food consumption in the United State from 1970 to 1990.
It is certainly true that the proportion of hamburger and fish and chips consumption increased significantly over a period of 20 years while pizza consumption just rose recently in 1990 after it dropped remarkably over 15 years.
In 1970, the consumption of pizza was
the highest which was about 310 units. It decreases dramatically to 200
units in 1985. By contrast, fish and chips and hamburger were lower, at
about 30 units and 80 units respectively. By 1985, the consuming of
hamburger rose substantially by 220 units, and there was a growth of
fish and chips consumption of 90 units.
Between 1970 and 1990,
there was a slight increase of pizza consumption from 200 units to 210
units. While in the same year, the consumption of fish and chips was the
highest which was 500 units, and the consumption of hamburger became
the second highest which climbed by 110 units.
